Midlife Calculus loosely chronicles the year I worked at a high school as a math tutor and decided, at age 47, to take calculus for the first time so I could cross it off my bucket list. Press 53 will publish this full length collection of "mathy poems" which will launch at the Carolina Mountains Literary Festival the first weekend of September.
North Carolina's Poetry Society's Poetry in Plain Sight is a fantastic program that puts North Carolina poets and poetry in front of more people.
